Metal Care:
Brass is a metal alloy of copper and zinc that naturally tarnishes over time. Unlike sterling silver, the patina process for brass is enjoyed by many. Each piece will gain it's own unique, rich, worn-in tone over time. I personally think this change is extremely beautiful and a fun process to witness!
If you prefer to keep your metal pieces looking super shiny, simply store in a small plastic zip bag when not wearing to help prevent tarnishing. You can also purchase a silver polishing cloth (NOT a liquid cleaner) and that should get your piece back to shiny gold in no time! My favorite is the little yellow Sunshine Cloth that was introduced to me at the bead store I worked at back in the day. Recommend 10/10.
I suggest you avoid getting your metal pieces wet - do not wear in the shower or while working out.
Metal Info:
- Earring measurements are taken from the top of the ear wire to the bottom-most point of the dangle/drop.
- Lever Back earrings are Gold Plated & Nickel Free.
- Ball Posts earrings are Gold Plated & Nickel Free.
- Post Back earrings are surgical stainless steel & Nickel Free. Note: the brass piece will also be resting on the ear.
- ALL earring styles allow for all-night dancing without loosing you favorite earring!
- All black-tone pieces are Black Oxidized Brass.
- All chain is Brass & naturally Nickel Free.
- 18”-21” necklaces have a Brass clasp + jump ring closure.
- 26”-32” necklaces do NOT have clasps for easy on/off.
Variations:
All pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind. Variations will be limited, but lengths of chain may vary slightly. Ear wires & posts may vary in look slightly due to material sourcing, but effect and style will be the same.

Wall Decor/Weavings
Woven wall decor piece are very easy to maintain. They may collect a bit of dust after awhile, but simply take outside and shake or tap them very lightly on the back with your hand (similar to how woven rugs have dust removed).
Most woven pieces are created with cotton and wool, though some of my vintage/thrifted yarns are synthetic blends. I also work with wool roving and brass in my pieces.
Fiber Jewelry
All woven pieces are secure for everyday wear.
I suggest you avoid getting any woven piece wet, but especially your fiber jewelry - do not wear in the shower or while working out.
- Woven necklaces and pins are backed in hand-stitched felt.
- If you tassel earrings get un-ruly, simply brush out with your fingers, spritz with a bit of water, and lay flat or hang to dry. Within the hour, they'll be ready for your next adventure.
